Our overarching STEAM agreements were created by the adults in our space. They are meant to provide guidance as to how we expect our overall community to interact and support each other.
Community Agreements
Community Agreements

We use the Community Agreements protocol with each class so that our learners can expand upon our STEAM Agreements and customize their learning space to meet their specific needs. Once the group decides on 5 or 6 agreements we print them off and have them present for reference during the beginning of the year.

Feedback Protocol
​
We introduce the Feedback Protocol during the first weeks of school and use it to improve the product of one of our activities. This protocol introduces our learners to the idea of "Process over Product" and how if used appropriately is meant to improve everyone's work. This is key to developing a growth mindset in our space.
